Intech Grid

Grid is a modular MIDI controller system from Intech Studio: small, magnetically connected modules that snap into whatever shape a performer needs. We made this film ourselves, because the product asks the questions we like answering. How do you show precision and modularity at the same time? How do you make a circuit board feel like a landscape?

Every module is treated both as a single object and as part of a larger system. Macro shots carry the material detail, wider frames show the grid assembling. Modelled, lit and rendered in Cinema 4D and Redshift.
